PERMANENT LECTURER

General requirements:

• Have a Master (S2) or Doctoral (S3) level degree from a reputable university,
• Have high interests in academic research on his/her subjects,
• Preferably possess an extensive knowledge of higher education systems,
• Have an excellent  English both oral and written,
• Can quickly adapt to academic environment,
• Fas-paced, self-motivated, and out-of-the box thinker,

Specific requirements:

Software Engineering Lecturer (rec-se1111)

• possess a firm understanding of the concept of SDLC and an extensive knowledge of software development methodologies and frameworks, e.g. waterfall, prototyping, extreme, agile, RUP, CMMI, etc.
• possess a firm understanding of IS architectures, i.e. client/server, multi-tiered.
• have experiences in IT project management and have a sound knowledge in project management approaches, i.e. Prince2, Event-chain, Process-based, etc.
• have experiences in developing applications using Object-oriented Programming language, i.e Java J2EE.
• have experiences in developing web-based applications and a sound knowledge of server programming, MySQL, PHP, xxML..

Enterprise Information Systems Lecturer (rec-eis1111)

• possess a firm understanding of IS architectures, i.e. client/server, multi-tiered.
• possess a firm understanding of web programming, server programming.
• possess a firm understanding of project management approaches, i.e. Prince2, Event-chain, Process-based, etc; and  have an extensive knowledge of software development methodologies and frameworks, e.g. waterfall, prototyping, extreme, agile, RUP, CMMI, etc.
• have a strong business analysis skill and experiences in business-process modeling using e.g. UML.
• possess a firm understanding of the concept of IT Strategic Planning, IS Governance, ERP, and have an extensive knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, e.g. TOGAF, MDA, SOA, Zachman, etc.

Enterprise Database Systems Lecturer (rec-eds1111)

• have experiences in and a firm understanding of Database Lifecycle
• have experiences in and a firm understanding of Database Design and Management, including: conceptual, logical, and physical design phases; ERD, Table Normalization, transactions, authorization, etc.
• possess a firm understanding of and have experiences in data modeling using, i.e. ERD, DFD, UML, Process-model, etc.
• Possess a firm understanding of data warehouse, data mining, and distributed systems.
